Homedustry consists of a short film (2008) and an installation (2010).
This work describes a speculative future scenario in which Nanotechnology has entered the home to help in times of environmental crisis.
A nano-mebrane for waste water filtering, shows a way out of a sinister near-future scenario that is characterized by fresh water scarcity.
The film ironically compares the hope connected to Nanotechnology with those that came with the invention of nuclear power. The aesthetics of the movie borrow from the film noir genre and deliberately quotes from 1950s science fiction movies.
